Jiga Jiga Paint

Jiga Jiga Paint is a first-of-its-kind national Aboriginal brand supplying APAS-certified high-performance architectural and decorative paint products across Australia designed for use by professional applicators and home renovators. In the spirit of reconciliation, our environmentally friendly products are carefully selected and manufactured in partnership with Haymes Paint.

Jiga Jiga Paint was created by Bevan Mailman and Tom Hutcheson who have extensive combined experience in commercial painting and community economic development. Both men had a desire to develop a paint brand and range of colours that celebrated First Nations ancient cultures and traditions and created employment and business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. 

The last piece of the puzzle was a meeting with the Haymes family who have been market leaders in paint manufacturing and supply since 1935. The formation of Jiga Jiga Paint was also the realisation of a dream of the late David Haymes who had a passion for working with Aboriginal people.
